1972-1993 Diesel Radiator Install Kit
This is the install kit parts and instructions to fit a 91.5-93 mishimoto (or oem replacement) cummins diesel radiator in an earlier, 72-93 core support and/or gas core support.

Specifically designed to upgrade the radiator in the 89 and up non Intercooled Cummins trucks or add a diesel radiator to gas core supports back to 72 if doing a diesel or other modern powertrain swap. The 89-91 diesel can reuse the original fan shroud with minor mods, or it can utilize a 91.5-93 shroud.
One piece radiator cover top plate is the mount for the upper radiator. (available in drop down below with or without hood safety latch hole for those of you using our big intercooler kit, as the big intercooler eliminates the ability to use the stock hood safety catch).
It will mount over the grill (shimming under grille can help if you want to fine tune hood to grille alignment)
Lower mounts have pre-cut holes to spot weld but can also be temporarily (or permanently if you wish) held in place with self tapping screws (pre drilled due to the thickness of the material). Center in support when installing. Many supports need a very small trim at the top rear bracing to allow radiator gusset to clear.

This kit includes;
lower steel mounts, upper mount/rad cover, 4 rubber grommets for radiator isolation, badge and badge hardware.
This will require a later 2g cummins thermostat housing and 2g thermostat and o-rings (2) in order to use oem replacement 91.5-93 radiator hoses.

How exactly does the diesel radiator install kit work? i have an 89 ramcharger 318 that im going to be swapping to a 4bt cummins here soon. i want to keep my current core support but add the diesel radiator. I saw your kit and just wanted to understand how exactly this will help me accomplish this. will i have to drill allot of extra holes into my core support?

Our radiator installation and intercooler installation kits are designed to allow our customers to convert any gas or non intercooled core support to a reasonable facility of a 91.5 to 93 intercooled core support, with an upgraded intercooler. We offer a total of five parts to do this: a radiator, an intercooler, a radiator install kit, and an intercooler install kit. The factory also installed some reinforcing bracketry to the intercoolers when they did their conversion. We emulate these with our core support conversion to intercooled kit.
