The factory steering on 2nd Gen Dodge RAM trucks? Let’s be honest—it’s weak. That’s why we built the BIG BORE XD Steering Gear, a serious upgrade designed to eliminate steering wander and give you the confidence to handle big tires, heavy loads, and tough terrain.

This gear is based on the newer Dodge XD platform, modified for a direct bolt-in fit on your 1994–2002 RAM 2500/3500. With a beefed-up 45mm sector shaft, larger bearings, and an 80mm piston, it delivers rock-solid steering and eliminates the need for aftermarket braces. Whether you’re daily driving or towing heavy, this is the fix your truck has been waiting for.

• No More Steering Wander: Bigger bearings and a stronger sector shaft keep everything tight.
• Built for Abuse: Handles big tires, towing, and off-road punishment.
• Direct Bolt-In: Works with OEM hoses and pitman arm—no crazy mods needed.

• This gear is 4WD only—won’t fit 2WD trucks. 
• Not compatible with aftermarket steering braces (you won’t need one anyway).
• Includes spacers and hardware for proper frame clearance.
