Built to approximately 160 HP and equipped with a VE mechanical injection pump, the Bone Stock is our bare-knuckles 12-valve option. It's built for the customer who wants dependable stock-style power or a clean foundation to take their build in their own direction.

Once your order is placed, a Far From Stock team member will contact you directly to discuss available engine paint colors and finish options before your engine is completed.
Whether you want to keep it traditional or give your 12-valve a completely different look, we'll work with you to determine the final appearance of your engine.
$2,500 Refundable Core Charge
A $2,500 core charge applies to your engine purchase.
After receiving your new engine, your qualifying core can be returned to Far From Stock. Once the core is received, inspected, and approved, the applicable $2,500 core charge will be refunded.
Our team will contact you after your order is placed to explain the core requirements and return process.
LTL Freight Shipping
Due to the size and weight of the engine, LTL freight shipping is not included in the listed purchase price.
When your engine is completed and ready to ship, we'll coordinate LTL freight based on your delivery location. Shipping will be calculated and paid separately at that time.

Once your order is placed, a Far From Stock team member will reach out directly to finalize the details of your engine order.
We'll go over:
- Your paint color and finish
- The $2,500 refundable core charge and core return process
- LTL freight shipping and delivery details

Every engine built by Far From Stock is bench tested and video recorded prior to shipment. We stand behind the work that goes into every build, and this warranty reflects both what we cover and how we'll work with you if something goes wrong.
Engine Warranty Coverage
Far From Stock (FFS) engine builds are covered under this Limited Warranty against defects in workmanship under normal use, subject to the coverage period, terms, and exclusions below. The length of coverage is determined by build tier.

Oil Leak Policy
This policy applies to all build tiers. Oil leaks resulting from installation errors (improper torque, seal placement, gasket surface prep, and similar) are covered under workmanship. Oil leaks resulting from fittings, adapters, sensors, or components installed, modified, or serviced after delivery are not covered.
