This front 4 link long arm conversion replaces the factory short control arm setup on 03–13 Ram 2500/3500 4x4 trucks and 06–08 Ram 1500 Mega Cab 4x4 trucks. It gives the front axle better control, better geometry, and more adjustment for lifted or air suspension builds.

Choose your lift range, bracket type, and powder finish above. The linked cradle option gives you the strongest connected bracket setup with special overlay/inlay plates for a cleaner finished look.

Built for solid-axle HD-style Ram front suspension applications. Standard 1500 models are not the same as the 1500 Mega Cab and should not be assumed to fit.

Lift

  • Stock – 4": Best for stock height, lowered, low lift, and FFSonAir long travel air suspension setups.
  • 5 – 12": Best for static lifted trucks with 5 inches or more of lift.

Bracket Type

  • Standard: Standard frame bracket setup.
  • Linked Cradle: Stronger connected cradle setup with special overlay/inlay plates and rear traction bar / lower link mounting provisions.

Powder

  • Wrinkle Black: Standard powder coat finish.
  • Custom Color - Single Coat: Custom single-stage powder color.
  • Custom Color - Illusions: Custom dual-stage illusion powder finish.
  • No Finish: Raw, unfinished parts.

Rear links and axle brackets are sold separately and should be selected based on cab style, bed length, lift height, and whether the truck is being built around the FFSonAir system.

Installation

Installation: This is a bolt-on long arm conversion, but drilling is required for each frame bracket. The factory frame-side link brackets must also be removed.

  1. Remove the factory short control arms.
  2. Remove the original frame-side link brackets.
  3. Prep and clean the frame.
  4. Install the selected standard brackets or linked cradle brackets.
  5. Install the upper and lower long links.
  6. Install the caster eliminator plates.
  7. Set axle location, caster, and wheelbase using the adjustable rod ends.
  8. Final torque all hardware and check clearance through the suspension cycle.

Shop Notes

The Stock – 4" option is the low-height setup used for stock, lowered, lower lift, and FFSonAir applications. The 5 – 12" option is cleaner for taller static lift trucks because it does not need the same low-height clearance bends.

For the strongest and cleanest setup, choose the Linked Cradle option with powder and special inlays.
