Complete bolt-in steering refresh for your 2000–2002 Dodge Ram 2500 or 3500 4x4. The Far From Stock 2G Heavy Duty Steering Kit replaces every wear-prone link in your factory steering with .250" wall DOM (Drawn Over Mandrel) tubing components — engineered to permanently eliminate death wobble and shrug off the abuse of lifted, oversized-tire builds.

This is the all-in-one kit: tie rod, drag link, adjustable track bar, frame-side drop bracket, and your choice of zero, one, or two Fox 2.0 IFP (Internal Floating Piston) stabilizers. Built in the USA. Powder coated to your spec. Bolt it on, drive it forever.

Why .250" Wall DOM Tubing Matters

DOM tubing is drawn over a mandrel during manufacturing, which produces a tube with a perfectly round, smooth interior, tighter tolerances, and a higher tensile strength than the cheaper ERW (electric resistance welded) tubing many competitors use. The .250" (quarter-inch) wall thickness adds a serious safety margin: the bars resist bending under the abuse of off-road impacts, plow loads, and trailering at heavy GVWR. In short — these are bars you bolt on once and forget about.

Why a Drop Bracket Matters on a Lifted Ram

When you lift a solid-axle Ram, the factory track bar mount on the frame is now too high relative to the axle. That mismatch pulls your axle off-center, kicks your steering out of alignment, and is one of the biggest contributors to death wobble. The included frame-side drop bracket lowers the mount point so the track bar runs at the correct angle — centered axle, predictable steering, even tire wear. Combined with the adjustable track bar, you can dial in axle position exactly where it needs to be.

Stabilizer Options

  • None — the bars and brackets only; perfect if you’re reusing an existing stabilizer or running stock
  • One Fox Stabilizer — a single Fox 2.0 IFP stabilizer that bolts to your factory mounting tab; recommended for daily-driver lifted Rams on 35"–37" tires
  • Dual Fox Stabilizers + Mounting Bracket — two Fox 2.0 IFP stabilizers on a weldment for serious off-road builds and 38"+ tires

Powder Coat Finish

  • Wrinkle Black — clean OE-style satin texture, included standard
  • Custom Color: Single Coat — your choice of solid color, single-stage powder
  • Custom Color: Dual Coat (Base/Clear or Illusions) — premium two-stage powder for show-truck builds
  • No Finish — raw bars and brackets, you handle the paint and save $50

Lift Height

  • Stock – 6" — for trucks running stock height through a 6" lift
  • 7" – 12" — for high-lift builds; track bar and bracket geometry tuned for the extended range
